Not everyone knows this, but Tesla had a lifelong dream of being the first man to fly, of course, with an electric airplane. Little did he know that it would take decades for electric powered airplanes to come true and no, he was not the first man to fly.
But the dream was there, and he even patented schematics for an eclectically powered aerial transportation system to which I did my best to make this 3D model, so you my dear viewer can see it in detail.
Now, today we can spot many problems with his designs, but this was an idea that started taking shape back in 1886 which sort of justifies it.
Nevertheless, he got the patent in 1921 where he goes into detail describing this mode of transportation. The cool thing about it is that his machine allowed for vertical and horizontal takeoff except that vertical takeoff would most likely not work, but the again helicopters would only become a thing in 1936.
Ok, cool but what does this have anything to do with his turbine?

The Hong Kong — Zhuhai — Macau Bridge is a giant transport complex, including a group of bridges and underwater tunnels, that cross the Pearl River and connect the main cities of the gerion: Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao. It is a 55-kilometre (34 mi) bridge–tunnel system. It is the longest sea crossing and the longest fixed link on earth.

Специалисты NASA продолжают поиск путей обеспечения безопасности для возведения постоянной базы на Марсе. Недавнее исследование определило, что цепочка лавовых труб в низменности Равнина Эллада, может быть неплохим укрытием для будущих марсианских исследователей. Равнина Эллада представляет собой древний ударный бассейн, проникающий в глубину Марса до 7 километров ниже поверхности окружающих нагорий.
Жидкая пресная вода не может долго существовать в условиях холодной марсианской поверхности; материал быстро замерзает или выкипает в условиях разреженной атмосферы планеты. Вода с высоким содержанием соли имеет гораздо более низкие точки замерзания, и может сохраняться в жидкой форме на Красной планете в течение более продолжительных, чем считалось ранее, периодов времени.
Исследования магнитных полей на основании данных аппарата Марс Глобал Сервейор, показали, что планетарное динамо было активным между 4,3 и 3,9 млрд. лет назад. Прибывший к Марсу в 1997 году, Марс Глобал Сервейор проводил свои наблюдения с высоты 400 км от поверхности, тогда как миссия MAVEN, которая вышла на орбиту вокруг Марса в 2014 году, смогла уловить более слабые сигналы, поскольку она действует с орбиты высотой всего 135 км от поверхности.
Новые данные, переданные аппаратом MAVEN, обнаружили явное свидетельство магнитного поля, исходящего от лавового потока Равнины Лукус, который сформировался около 3,7 миллиардов лет назад.
В дополнение, MAVEN обнаружил магнитное поле низкой интенсивности над Великими Северными Равнинами Марса. Tour of Asteroid Bennu



When NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft arrived at asteroid Bennu in December 2018, its close-up images confirmed what mission planners had predicted nearly two decades before: Bennu is made of loose material weakly clumped together by gravity, and shaped like a spinning top. This major validation, however, was accompanied by a major surprise. Scientists had expected Bennu’s surface to consist of fine-grained material like a sandy beach, but were instead greeted by a rugged world littered with boulders – the size of cars, the size of houses, the size of football fields. Now, thanks to laser altimetry data and high-resolution imagery from OSIRIS-REx, we can take a tour of Bennu’s remarkable terrain.

This ISS live feed of planet earth from space is courtesy of Nasa Earth Viewing Cameras aboard the international space station. The station is crewed by #NASA astronauts as well as Russian Cosmonauts and a mixture of Japanese, Canadian and European astronauts as well.
Before you ask —
Why can't we see the stars?
The cameras have a low light exposure for viewing Earth in daylight, so no stars are seen on the feeds, although the Sun, Moon and Venus can be seen. The Earth or moon on these videos is many hundreds of thousands of times brighter than the brightest stars and the cameras shoot at 60 frames per second — with an exposure that allows us to get a good view of the Earth. This exposure is too short to capture stars which are incredibly faint compared to the brightness of the planet. (Its down to photography rather than conspiracy!)
What do those different screens mean?
The bottom left screen shows photos of Earth taken by ISS astronauts.
The middle screen shows the current position of the Space Station (the large white H shape!)
The bottom right will is a 2nd live cam which will display timelapse video when the live stream is not available.
