Republic RC-3 Seabee

How to control someone else's arm with your brain | Greg Gage

Greg Gage is on a mission to make brain science accessible to all. In this fun, kind of creepy demo, the neuroscientist and TED Senior Fellow uses a simple, inexpensive DIY kit to take away the free will of an audience member. It’s not a parlor trick; it actually works. You have to see it to believe it.
TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes (or less). Introducing Handle

Handle is a research robot that stands 6.5 ft tall, travels at 9 mph and jumps 4 feet vertically. It uses electric power to operate both electric and hydraulic actuators, with a range of about 15 miles on one battery charge. Handle uses many of the same dynamics, balance and mobile manipulation principles found in the quadruped and biped robots we build, but with only about 10 actuated joints, it is significantly less complex. Wheels are efficient on flat surfaces while legs can go almost anywhere: by combining wheels and legs Handle can have the best of both worlds.

How to Man Cave your Garage | Lotus Elan S2 | Ep #11

Episode #11 is about creating a «Man Cave» Garage for my Lotus.
With some classic retro 'gas and oil' signage and a whole lot of paint and elbow grease. I've had enough of the concrete dust from the garage floor making the Lotus dirty every time I want to take it out.
I hope you enjoy the journey from dusty dive to man cave.
Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE for more Elan and automotive stuff.
