Если хочется-надо брать. Так подумал Дмитрий Исаакович. А он — человек уважаемый вообще и в лётных кругах, в частности. И мы купили, привезли, собрали эту летающую лодку.

Дима-один из первых в Украине, кто оторвался от аэродромовских полетов по кругам, и полетел туда, куда ему захотелось.

17 лет назад мы на «Чайке» дня три готовились к полету из точки А в точку Б. И называлось это гордо-«перелёт». Я смотрел на Диму, прилетавшего из Харькова в Киев просто так, между делом, как на супергероя. Смотрел снизу вверх, думая, «я так тоже смогу»…

За эти годы многое изменилось. Авиация стала доступнее. И я очень благодарен всем тем, которые проложили эту дорогу в небо. И тем, кто приходит в небо сейчас-очень динамично осваивают все премудрости, как будто это так просто, ведь самолёт-это еще одно транспортное средство, что такого?!

Introducing Handle
Handle is a research robot that stands 6.5 ft tall, travels at 9 mph and jumps 4 feet vertically. It uses electric power to operate both electric and hydraulic actuators, with a range of about 15 miles on one battery charge. Handle uses many of the same dynamics, balance and mobile manipulation principles found in the quadruped and biped robots we build, but with only about 10 actuated joints, it is significantly less complex. Wheels are efficient on flat surfaces while legs can go almost anywhere: by combining wheels and legs Handle can have the best of both worlds.
