When Phones Were Fun – And Nokia Was Crazy

You remember Nokia for the legendary 3310 that no one could break, or for the Nokia N95 that had all the features (before having-all-the-features was a thing). But you might not remember that, for a few years in the mid-oughts, while The Killers were killing the Billboards and Google was first going public … Nokia was going a little bit crazy.
Yep, it's time for another episode of When Phones Were Fun – and this time MrMobile's rose-tinted glasses are focused on some of the strangest mobile devices ever to hit store shelves. From the vase-like Nokia 3650 to the leaf/eyeball/alien artifact Nokia 7600, some of the craziest cellphones of the noughties came straight out of Espoo… and thanks to a generous loan from friend of the channel (and Nokia collector) Martin, those phones spend this entire video under the lenses of Michael Fisher's stay-at-home studio.
Join me for «When Phones Were Fun» Episode 4: a throwback retro tribute to a time when Nokia's weird phones helped set the tone for a new generation of smartphones!

6 Amazing Machines At Work — Construction, Agriculture, Woodworking and Energy

This is a list of construction, energy production, cleaning, agriculture and woodworking machines with incredible and amazing performance at what they do. These are amazing inventions you must see.
1. LANDPAC
Landpac is a soil compaction machine. Soil compaction is the removal of air from the soil particles by applying weight in order to provide the necessary flat base to support; roads, railways, buildings and any other construction structures. Manufactured by Landpac, this machine transfer compaction energy into the soil by means of the lifting and falling motion of non-circular rotating masses. Unlike the conventional vibratory compactors, Landpac compactor uses high energy impact compaction which can transfer 10 to 25kJ of compaction energy into the soil at a speed of up to 5 times faster. This allows the Landpac compactor to compact up to 10 times more volume than conventional compactors.

2. Waterwheel
This is a Poncelet Waterwheel. It is a prototype of a hydrokinetic turbine that can produce 7.5kW at 50 revolutions per minute. Hydrokinetic turbines are more suitable to convert kinetic energy in the river and marine currents. They are the best solutions to provide electricity to non-interconnected areas like islands and rural areas close to rivers. This waterwheel technology could replace the diesel with a source of green power that is available 24/7 in those areas. The waterwheel is manufactured by Nering Industries and It is currently in the developmental stage, optimizing blade profiles for efficiency.

3. Agriplanter 4SP
Agriplanter 4SP is an agricultural machine that automates the process of transplanting seedlings to the field. It is called Agriplanter. Attached to the tractor, this machine can plant 4 rows of plants simultaneously, separated 50 to 75cm apart. With its 229cm width and 310cm height, it can plant up to 44,000 plants in one hour.

4. Menzi Muck M5
Menzi Muck M5 is a mobile multi-purpose excavator. With its 10.7 tons of weight, it can produce the same power as the 20-tonne excavator. With its crossing hydraulic legs for several types of drive, this walking/spider excavator can work in any terrain even with the most difficult conditions. The M5 is equipped with 4-cylinder 157 HP — DEUTZ turbo diesel engine and can travel up to a speed of 15km/h. Thanks to the adjustable wheel and claw support, its fixed tilting edges can be adjusted depending on the task ahead, As a result, it produces lifting and gripping forces beyond those of conventional excavators

5. Citymaster 2200
Citymaster 2200 is a road cleaning machine which not only makes road cleaning easier but also makes it efficient, economical and safe. It is called The Citymaster 2200. With its reliable sweeping and intake systems combined with environmentally friendly state-of-the-art machine technology and an extra large dirt hopper, this machine is a professional solution for comprehensive municipal all-season employment. In addition to its function as a professional sweeper, the Citymaster 2200 is extremely flexible in use. Its quick-change system enables easy demounting of the sweeping technology so that the machine can be used for wet cleaning including sluicing and scrubbing or winter services tasks such as snow clearing and gritting.

10 AMAZING ROBOTIC ANIMALS

#animalrobots
That's the field dedicated to imitating aspects of nature to better understand, and potentially solve, complex human issues.
It's the reason why so many engineers and researchers are creating robot models of animals.
Robotic animals can help researchers better understand locomotion, evolution, and simply how certain animals accomplish the amazingly unique tasks that they do.
But they can also have tangible applications, from scouting for danger for the marines to aiding in search and rescue missions.

10 incredible cases, when artificial intelligence shocked. Smart neural networks

10 incredible cases when artificial intelligence shocked its creators. What is the artificial intelligence capable of. Smart neural networks. AI Bugs. Amazing facts about artificial intelligence.
The «Wild West World» from HBO again, as a franchise about the terminator, draws terrible pictures of self-conscious artificial intelligence. In reality, many believe that today's neural networks are able to perform only one task, which they were trained by man. This is roughly the case, except for cases when artificial intelligence was getting out of control and began to behave in an unpredictable way.
Look at all the interesting things about artificial intelligence (AI) from a particular angle. How can we be surprised by neural networks, what smart inventions are really dangerous, how can a chat bot surprise you, is deep learning always effective? The answers to these and other questions, as well as interesting facts about neural networks, the brain and the future in this one video!
