Петр Великий — тяжелый атомный ракетный крейсер, флагман Северного флота России. Четвертый корабль проекта 1144 Орлан (НАТО: Kirov-class battlecruiser). Самый крупный в мире крейсер с водоизмещением более 26000 тонн, уступающий по размерам только авианосцам.
На момент начала строительства в 1980-хх корабль нес имя Куйбышев, а потом, Юрий Андропов. На момент принятия на вооружения он получил наименование Петр Великий и несет это имя до сих пор.
Основной задачей крейсера является борьба с корабельными группировками противника, в первую очередь, с авианосцами, а так же защита морского пространства от нападений. Для этого он оснащен противокорабельными сверхзвуковыми ракетами и широкой номенклатурой средств обороны от подводных, надводных и воздушных угроз.

Not everyone knows this, but Tesla had a lifelong dream of being the first man to fly, of course, with an electric airplane. Little did he know that it would take decades for electric powered airplanes to come true and no, he was not the first man to fly.
But the dream was there, and he even patented schematics for an eclectically powered aerial transportation system to which I did my best to make this 3D model, so you my dear viewer can see it in detail.
Now, today we can spot many problems with his designs, but this was an idea that started taking shape back in 1886 which sort of justifies it.
Nevertheless, he got the patent in 1921 where he goes into detail describing this mode of transportation. The cool thing about it is that his machine allowed for vertical and horizontal takeoff except that vertical takeoff would most likely not work, but the again helicopters would only become a thing in 1936.
Ok, cool but what does this have anything to do with his turbine?

This ISS live feed of planet earth from space is courtesy of Nasa Earth Viewing Cameras aboard the international space station. The station is crewed by #NASA astronauts as well as Russian Cosmonauts and a mixture of Japanese, Canadian and European astronauts as well.
Before you ask —
Why can't we see the stars?
The cameras have a low light exposure for viewing Earth in daylight, so no stars are seen on the feeds, although the Sun, Moon and Venus can be seen. The Earth or moon on these videos is many hundreds of thousands of times brighter than the brightest stars and the cameras shoot at 60 frames per second — with an exposure that allows us to get a good view of the Earth. This exposure is too short to capture stars which are incredibly faint compared to the brightness of the planet. (Its down to photography rather than conspiracy!)
What do those different screens mean?
The bottom left screen shows photos of Earth taken by ISS astronauts.
The middle screen shows the current position of the Space Station (the large white H shape!)
The bottom right will is a 2nd live cam which will display timelapse video when the live stream is not available.
