Review of the new Razer Blade Pro 17, one of the most premium gaming laptops as we hit 2020, boasting a GeForce RTX 2080 GPU, 4K display and 9th Gen Intel Core chipset. I've been using it as my full-time game machine and here's a full benchmarking and real-life test of the performance, battery life and more.
If you want the very best grunt from your gaming notebook, the Razer Pro 17 certainly delivers. I've reviewed a handful of 4K laptops this year and this is among the best for power, while that Ultra HD display means your favourite titles will look beautiful. The likes of Destiny 2 run with a smooth frame rate and the 120Hz refresh rate means everything looks natural, not to mention stunning.
Of course, the battery performance is less than stellar, as you'd expect. However, the customisation and upgrade options are impressive and I'd heartily recommend this Razer machine to anyone who has plenty of bank roll to spend on their latest gaming laptop. It certainly won't be ageing any time soon.

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus 20TG is a formidable and versatile laptop sporting the latest 10th generation Intel i7 processor, 16GB of ram and a fast NVMe 512TB drive. In addition to a bright 13.3” it also sports 10.8” E-Ink monochrome screen for note taking and reading eBooks.

Foldable phones may have had a rocky 2019, but that hasn't deterred other companies from exploring the world of flexible screens. At CES 2020 we saw foldable PC prototypes from three different companies, Intel, Dell, and Lenovo, and Lenovo's Thinkpad X1 Fold you can actually buy. The Dell Ori and Duet, and Intel Horseshoe Bend probably won't ever go on sale, but are a look at the kind of devices we might be able to expect to see in the future.
