Mat’s lining up in the brand new BMW M8 Gran Coupe, and alongside it’s the Porsche Panamera Turbo S, an Audi RS6 and a Mercedes-AMG E63 S estate.
So how about performance? Well the BMW’s packing a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 which produces 625hp and 750Nm of torque. The Porsche may only have a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, but thanks to the addition of an electric motor it’ll produce 680hp & 850Nm! As the for the remaining contenders, the RS6’s 4-litre V8 will put down 600hp and 800Nm, while the AMG E63 S will produce 612hp and 850Nm thanks to its — you guessed it — 4-litre twin-turbo V8!
So how do you think this one will play out? Will the lighter E63 snatch it? Or will the all-new M8 Gran Coupe (along with BMW’s much-improved launch control) claim the W? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
