Ergänzung seitens Sky Deutschland zur Frage der Multiroom Nutzung von Sky Q:
«Mit Sky Q ist es möglich, das Sky Programm auf bis zu fünf Geräten gleichzeitig zu sehen (drei TV Geräte und zwei mobile Geräte).
Für die Nutzung über ein TV Gerät ist die Basis entweder der Sky+ Pro Receiver oder die Sky Q App, die über die Apple TV Box (ab der 4. Generation) verfügbar ist. Wichtig: Alle drei Geräte müssen sich im selben Heimnetzwerk befinden. Dies ist durch die AGB von Sky geregelt.
Der Zugriff über mobile Geräte auf das Sky Programm — etwa im Urlaub oder auf Geschäftsreise – erfolgt über Sky Go. Der Service bietet allen Sky Kunden das Sky Programm auf Smartphones, Tablets, Notebooks und Desktop-PCs. Zusätzlich können über die Downloadfunktion Sky Inhalte auch offline geschaut werden. Zudem ist seit April auf Basis der EU-Portabilitätsverordnung die Nutzung von Sky Go im Rahmen des Urlaubs auch im EU-Ausland möglich.»
Seit dem 2. Mai 2018 startet SKY Q. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt wird sich das Bedienkonzept, das Angebot und der Bedienungskomfort von SKY deutlich verändern.
