What happened to the Brick Store? In 2018, Elon Musk annouced that the Boring Company would start a spin-off called The Brick Store. The excavated earth from digging the tunnels would be used to create earth+concrete bricks that would sell for 10 cents each. They would be free if used for affordable housing.
