NASA's Crawler-Transporter undergoes further mods for use on SLS
SpaceFlight Insider was provided with an exclusive tour of NASA's Crawler-Transporter, which will be used to ferry the massive super heavy-lift Space Launch System rocket out to Launch Complex 39B as early as 2018.
Take a road trip to Explore Kennedy Space Center and get an inside look at the Crawler Transporter 2. Before the SLS does the heavy lifting to get Orion to the Moon in 2024, the Crawler does the heavy lifting here on Earth.
