Илон Маск показал межпланетный корабль для Марса «Starship»



«Наверное, это одна из самых вдохновляющих вещей, которые я когда-либо видел», — именно так, довольно скромно, выразился Илон Маск о своем новом детище — проекте «Starship». По его же заверениям, этот уникальный аппарат в ближайшие несколько лет позволит нам ступить на поверхность Красной планеты. Попробуем разобраться, насколько это близко к правде.
В ночь на 29 сентября 2019 года, на Техасском испытательном полигоне Бока-Чика, глава SpaceX Илон Маск представил общественности прототип Starship — перспективной многоразовой двухступенчатой ракеты, способной доставлять грузы и людей на Луну и Марс. К слову, презентация была приурочена к первому успешному запуску компании: 11 лет назад ракета Falcon-1 совершила свой первый успешный полёт. Сам прототип Starship построили всего за 5 месяцев, а презентация его концепции и вовсе состоялась в далеком 2016 году, тогда проект носил название ITS (Interplanetary Transport System). Давайте рассмотрим ключевые особенности проекта.
