Рыба Голиаф. Тигровая рыба Голиаф по кровожадности немного уступает пиранье. Она имеет 32 острых, как бритва, зуба и по праву считается одной из самых страшных и опасных пресноводных рыб в мире. Всего известно 5 видов тигровой рыбы, но самый крупный вид обитает исключительно в бассейне реки Конго. Эта зверюга может достигать до 180 сантиметров в длину и весить более 50 килограммов.
Акула гоблин. Столь необычное название этот вид акул получил из-за своего уникального внешнего вида: длинная морда и нос клювовидной формы делают акулу-гоблина похожей на настоящее морское чудовище. размеры акулы-гоблина довольно трудно назвать пугающими. Первый пойманный экземпляр был добыт у берегов Японии в 1897 году.
Черного дракон. Название свое рыба получила за угольно-черный окрас и очень острые зубы. Тело у нее длинное и узкое. Чешуя Черного дракона как таковая отсутствует. Несмотря на небольшие размеры, это очень свирепые хищники. Средняя их длина – 16 см, максимальная – 50-60 см. Дракончики эти хоть и малы, но очень агрессивны. Эти рыбы имеют довольно большую голову и пасть с острейшими зубами. На подбородке имеется длинный ус, и на его кончике находится «рыболовная приманка» — фотофор.
Большерот. Большерота еще иногда называют рыбой-пеликаном. Большерот обычно водится в тропических зонах океанов на глубине не выше 500 и до 3000 метров. Рыба обладает длинным и достаточно узким телом. Внешний ее вид напоминает угря, из-за чего рыба получила еще одно прозвище — пеликаний угорь.
Морской черт. Морской черт — рыба хищная. Получила свое название заслуженно, за свой внешний угрожающий вид. В Европе его еще называют — удильщик, за длинный светящийся вырост на голове, в котором содержится фотофор. Это устройство похоже на удочку рыболова и служит для привлечения и заманивания добычи в виде мелких рыбок. «Удочка» морского черта то загорается, то гаснет и жертва, коснувшись приманки, моментально будет схвачена сильными челюстями рыбы и отправлена в рот хищника. Морской черт не имеет чешуи, тело его покрыто пестрящими диковинными наростами. В длину достигает
