Permeable Pavers vs Wine | Sustainable Building Materials | Jagas Paving NZ

So called “permeable” paving products, such as those made from standard dry-cast concrete, rely on the gaps between the pavers to allow water to pass – and rely entirely (but not always successfully) on the supporting layers to retain water. The gaps can clog, completely negating the permeability of the paving installation.
— Jagas Hydropavers are made of a recycled Porcelain material and actually allow the water to pass through the surface of the paver itself!
— Hydropavers justly claim extensive benefits. Apart from their good looks, these include:
— Significantly reducing the impact of Council site coverage limitations
— Reducing the heat island effect in built up areas
— Providing retention space following heavy rain (11L/m2)
— No sealing required
— Low maintenance
— Quick installation
