New Laptop Setup Guide *STEP BY STEP* in English

Updated for Windows 10 Version 1909 this is the unboxing and set it up of a brand new laptop — including tips and tricks to optimise and tweak performance.
The laptop in the video is a Lenovo V130-14IKB with part number 81HQ00L1UK but the video applies to any make and model of laptop. It was purchased on 12th February 2020.
Here's a handy timeline for you… If you're after the tips, then jump past the unboxing…
00:00 Unboxing.
03:42 First power up — it takes longer than you expect!
04:56 Region and Keymap settings.
05:42 Connect to a Network — How to avoid using a Microsoft Account.
07:23 Username and Password — How to auto login.
08:29 User experience settings that involve data collection.
10:49 Desktop configuration and optimisation — Tip & Tricks.
After 10:49 I also talk through everything so it should be pretty clear, but I might remake this section using a proper screen capture method rather than a GoPro on a tripod pointing at the screen.
Just let me know in the comments if this is something you'd like to see in another video.
I left Lenovo Vantage on — mainly for the warranty status information but also because the customer might find it handy in the future.
I'm never going to get rich from this, but it is nice to get something… So if you've watched this video and it influenced or helped you then please click Like and Subscribe.
