Vehicles Of The Future — Future Transportation System 2050
The transportation system in the future will be very different from our current system. We will see flying cars, self-driving cars, passenger drones, hyperloop one system that is projected to reach a top speed of 760 mph (1,220 km/h) and with Starship and the Super Heavy Rocket, most journeys will taking less than 30 minutes, with access to anywhere in the world in an hour or less.
Starship-Super Heavy Earth to Earth:
With Starship and the Super Heavy Rocket, most of what people consider to be long distance trips would be completed in less than half an hour. In addition to vastly increased speed, one great benefit about traveling in space, outside of Earth’s atmosphere, is the lack of friction as well as turbulence and weather. Consider how much time we currently spend traveling from one place to another. Now imagine most journeys taking less than 30 minutes, with access to anywhere in the world in an hour or less. It's designed to service all Earth orbit needs as well as the Moon and Mars. This two-stage vehicle—composed of the Super Heavy Rocket (booster) and Starship (ship).
Hyperloop One:
The Hyperloop is a new mode of transportation that moves freight and people quickly, safely, on-demand and direct from origin to destination. Passengers or cargo are loaded into the hyperloop vehicle and accelerate gradually via electric propulsion through a low-pressure tube. The vehicle floats above the track using magnetic levitation and glides at airline speeds for long distances due to ultra-low aerodynamic drag. Hyperloop One systems will be built on columns or tunneled below ground to avoid dangerous grade crossings and wildlife. It’s fully autonomous and enclosed, eliminating pilot error and weather hazards.
Underground Tunnels Transportation:
To solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic, roads must go 3D, which means either flying cars or tunnels. Unlike flying cars, tunnels are weatherproof, out of sight and won't fall on your head. A large network of tunnels many levels deep would fix congestion in any city, no matter how large it grew (just keep adding levels). Fast to dig, low cost tunnels would also make Hyperloop adoption viable and enable rapid transit across densely populated regions, enabling travel from New York to Washington DC in less than 30 minutes.
Pop.Up Next:
At the heart of the Pop.Up Next concept is a simple two-seat passenger cabin that can travel one of two ways. The simpler and more conventional route involves attaching to a 60-kW (80-hp) electric powered sled and assuming the role of a self-driving car. Top speed is listed at 100 km/h (62 mph) and it would rely on a 15-kWh battery for a 130-km (81-mi) range. Pop.Up’s modus operandi is simple: passengers plan their journey and book their trip via an easy-to-use app. The system automatically suggests the best transport solution — according to user knowledge, timing, traffic congestion, costs, ridesharing demands — joining either the air or ground module or other means of transportation to the passenger capsule, and following passengers’ preferences and needs.
Renault Float:
The Float is designed to take the social interaction of Facebook into the world of cars. The glass machine will look like a bubble when on the roads, floating around using magnetic levitation tech, while able to connect to other pods to create a weird bubblewrap-style convoy. Seats can swivel and sliding doors open to force you to interact while The Float can bob around in any direction. The concept also includes a smartphone app that lets you holler for a Float at any time – the Uber of the future, apparently.

The Mercedes-Benz F 015 Luxury in Motion research vehicle makes the future tangible with the revolutionary concept of autonomous driving. A luxury sedan with total connectivity between vehicle, passengers, and the outside world, it's a preview of how the self-driving car of the future could evolve into a platform for communication and interaction.
Transit Elevated Bus:
Passengers on board the bus are expected to experience a ride comparable to riding in the upper level of a double decker bus. They will board and alight at stations at the side of the road with platforms at the bus floor height similar to stations of an elevated railway, or via stairs descending through the roof of the bus from a station similar to a pedestrian overpass. It will travel at up to 60 km/h (37 mph). Different versions will carry up to 1,200 passengers, with the larger versions being articulated to facilitate going around curves.

Basic set-up:
Two oil-hydraulically operated floating pumps are set down in the water and transport approx. 11,000 litres of water per minute (per floating pump approx. 5,500 litres of water per minute) at 2.5 bar over a distance of up to 60 metres to a booster pump on the mainland. The booster pump transports these 11,000 litres of water per minute at 12 bar over a distance of 6 km in a Ø300 mm hose to its destination.
Configuration Options:
Configuration 1:
After the water transport with the first booster pump over 6km, as described in the basic set-up, a second booster pump can be used to transport the water even further. This means that 11,000 litres of water per minute can be supplied over a distance of 12 km.
Configuration 2:
It is also possible to connect two independent units of the pump container in parallel. This means that 4 oil-hydraulic floating pumps and 2 booster pumps are used, which means that 22,000 litres of water per minute can be transported over 6 km in two Ø300 mm hoses to the destination.

Друзья, ещё раз убеждаюсь, что изобретая что-либо, никогда не будешь знать, чем это закончится. В процессе работы обязательно появляются много разных других идей, связанных с первоначальной, но уже имеющие совсем другой результат.
Начав с попытки ответить на вопрос, возможно ли создать оружие, способное пробить оборону кораблей с их легендарными скорострельными автоматическими пушками, готовыми расстрелять любой подлетающий к кораблю объект, мы увидели, что совсем другая возникает ситуация, когда атакуют корабли сверху, вертикально, и специальными ракетами, так как показано в этом фильме. Для меня лично совершенно очевидно, что нет пока у военных способа отбить такую плотную атаку интеллектуальными ракетами. Ракеты невозможно сбить ни во время вертикального взлёта, ни во время зависания и подготовки к атаке. А когда ракеты большими группами начинают подлетать и оказываться доступными для пушек, становится слишком поздно, невозможно технически расстрелять сто ракет, летящих на большой скорости со всех сторон одновременно за три секунды. А таких атак может быть десяток с минимальной паузой. Одним словом, стало очевидно, что заявление военных о том, что нет такой силы способной потопить авианосную группировку, мягко говоря слишком самоуверенное и бездоказательное. Корабли возможно топить, даже используя только одну подводную лодку, с новой системой залпового огня.
На самом деле теперь интересно стало даже не это, интересно то, что рассматривая разные варианты армейских нападений, мы обнаружили одну поразительную вещь-если вы создадите ракеты, способные запускаться из обычного контейнера, взлетать на несколько километров и зависать в воздухе, для получения индивидуального целеуказания, и дальше точно отработать подлёт к цели, это становится невероятно, (чудовищно) эффективным способом ведения боя, как с армейской колонной, так и с любой другой автоколонной. А чтоб ситуацию немного обострить и сделать интересной для просмотра, мы использовали в качестве объекта атаки кортеж первого лица условного президента условного Государства, чтоб никого не обидеть.
Вы не поверите, но это инженерный факт. Соверши сегодня кто-нибудь такую атаку на президента любой страны мира, на самого тщательно охраняемого, даже набравшись наглости предварительно об этом предупредив, ни одна служба в мире не знает что можно этому противопоставить. Все автомобили кортежа будут расстреляны ракетами столько раз, сколько посчитает нужным злоумышленник. Ему будет наплевать на то, какие выкрутасы совершают ваши автомобили на дороге, оператор из другого района города, с позиции прямой видимости ракет, укажет на кортеж как на цель, и продолжит не спеша допивать свой утренний кофе, а все остальное сделают умные ракеты, имеющие техническое зрение, сравнимое с орлиным, и фантастическое быстродействие. Ракете, поймавшей цель, совершенно безразлично сколько раз автомобили меняются местами, как быстро они едут, ракета свой автомобиль не перепутает, ни один автомобиль не будет обделен боезарядом, всем достанется одинаковое количество ракет, и воткнутся заряды именно в те участки кузовов, куда будет задумано.
Такой способ совершения нападения опасен ещё и тем, что у злоумышленников не будет никаких проблем с исполнителями. При такой высокотехнологичной атаке, когда человек, управляющий процессом на всех его этапах, может оставаться в нескольких километрах от места совершения атаки, не подвергая собственную жизнь никакой опасности, может появиться ощущение полной безнаказанности. Если ощущение полной безнаказанности вчера было у того, кто сидел в бронированном лимузине, то теперь это ощущение безнаказанности может возникнуть у того, кто атакует из безопасного расстояния. Согласитесь, что это все меняет в корне, если раньше для совершения такой атаки непременно требовались настоящие смертники, (которые как мы можем догадываться на улице не валяются), то теперь в них нет никакой надобности, а вероятность того, что злоумышленник уйдёт незамеченным полицейскими резко вырастает, она почти сто процентная.
Начиная с того дня, когда военные продемонстрируют работу таких ракет не в анимационном фильме, а в жизни реально, думаю, что мир изменится.
Ни один диктатор, глава государства больше не будет уверен, что при определенных условиях от него не решат избавиться самым простым понятным способом. В некоторых случаях народ, которым управлял такой диктатор скажет большое спасибо избавителю.
Я не исключаю, что в ближайшее время может появиться под патронажем некоторых спецслужб компания, у которой будет единственная бесплатная услуга под ключ, смене правительства в любой стране мира, в течении одной недели. Кое кому из тех, кто не инженер, а гуманитарий, может показаться что это смешно, а на самом деле это очень серьезно, проведи сегодня кто-нибудь такую атаку против любого президента любой страны, его охрана даже не поймет, что произошло, не только не успеет ничего предпринять, не успеет даже испугаться.
DAM CUTOFF WALL — SEEPAGE BARRIER CONSTRUCTION — PLASTIC SECANT PILE WALL
3D METHOD STATEMENT OF A DAM CUTOFF / PLASTIC SECANT PILE WALL / CEMENT BENTONITE / SEEPAGE BARRIER CONSTRUCTION
The video shows the construction of a cutoff wall to remediate or prevent seepage of water from happening under a dam or reservoir. The seepage over time can cause the foundation of the dam to weaken, potentially leading to the collapse of the dam itself. The construction of the wall is accomplished with the construction of a cement bentonite (also called CB or coulis) plastic secant pile wall. This is undertaken with the usage of modern equipment that can dig through both soils and rocks. Wall thicknesses can vary up to 3m. The wall can reach depths of up to 250m.
